         Course price includes:

  • All tuition
  • Guided visits and activities
  • Full-board accommodation including:
    - individual room with private bathroom
    - breakfast, lunch and dinner (including local
            specialties from fresh, organic ingredients)
    - wine with dinner, cold and hot drinks
  • Free internet and e-mail access

         Excludes:

  • Travel insurance
  • Transport to and from the centre. We can arrange transport to and from Avignon and its train stations. The total price for before and after the course is 30 euros for 1-week courses and 40 euros for 2-week courses
  • 1 lunchtime is free during the week. It is taken in an animated local town with a wide choice of cafés, restaurants and boulangeries

Courses start on Sunday evening at around 5:30pm and finish on Friday afternoon at around 3pm.

1-week (5 days / 6 nights) - normal background
Courses start on Sunday evening at around 5:30pm and finish on Saturday at around 9am

2-weeks (10 days / 11 nights)
Courses start on Sunday evening at around 5:30pm and finish on Friday afternoon at around 3pm. During the weekend between the two weeks the centre is closed from after breakfast Saturday morning until 5pm on Sunday. This time is free for participants to take a short break and visit Avignon or Aix-en-Provence. For information on hotels for the Saturday night please see Avignon in 'Practical'. 

Special weeks 

  • French and cooking - These weeks involve 2 cooking classes given by local chefs as well as our normal programme. During these cooking workshops you  will be shown and participate in the preparation of several healthy Provencal dishes. These courses have a supplement of 50 euros and are indicated by ** in the dates below. 
  • Avignon Festival Week - July 22-27. Combine French study with France's most famous festival. Click here for details
  • Cuisine and wine of Provence - The course is is based on French language study focusing on the Provencal diet. It includes the practical side of cooking Provencal dishes with local chefs as well as visits to local producers and vineyards to taste their produce. The week is ideal if you wish to improve your French and learn more about this region's famous cuisine. Click here for  photos and the course diary from 2006.
